Leucadia California often feels like San Diego's last bastion of coastal funkiness. My friends and I surf up and down this stretch of coastline hunting for the best waves to suit the day's conditions. From Beacons, to Grandview, and up through the Campgrounds, the coast is littered with hidden gems and semisecret breaks. This is where Jed and Kristen Stotsenberg's life together began and this commissioned piece is done in honor of their first wedding anniversary. Every love story has its glory, its trails and tribulations, and all will have an ending, but no matter what joys and challenges cross their path, may they always remember the way it was, in the beginning.
