I was commissioned by Tracy Tiernan to paint a whimsical scene of the Del Mar coastline as a surprise 5 year anniversary gift for her husband Michael Tiernan. Mike and Tracy are a wonderful couple with a baby on the way and I'm honored to be apart of their celebration. Michael Tiernen is an award winning singer songwriter, a local talent and rising star. Check out his music and tour dates at www.TiernanTunes.com *******During the time that I was working on this piece for the Tiernan's, Renee and I had our 3rd anniversary which we celebrated on Catalina Island. It was an incredible experience! We stayed at The Inn on Mt. Ada which is the old Wrigley Mansion overlooking the harbor. This is a magical place, to say the least. Renee and I had planned on staying for only two days and one night. Well three nights and four days later we were debating on ever leaving! "Casual Royalty" is how I would best explain the essence of The Inn on Mt. Ada. Special thanks to our wonderful hosts for an unforgettable stay and for allowing me to paint on their patio while sipping on a cold drink and admiring the breathtaking view. To Learn more about The Inn on Mt. Ada, go to www.innonmtada.com PS You may have to book up to a year in advance, but I'm telling you... its worth it!!
