Originally from the rural yet pastoral expanses of Chesterfield, Missouri John began his musical education around age 15. Surrounded by an older brother and friends who were avid music listeners, John was first exposed to the classic riffs of blues and funk through the relatively new medium of Hip-Hop. He later switched his attentions to Classic rock and folk, forming an immediate bond with the messages of both; independence from conformity, creativity, and originality - all tightly woven together to create an impact on the listener.

The STONE refers to the rock solid rhythm that shakes you to smiles and the WHEEL is the roll under which your troubles vanish. STONEWHEEL consists of five unique individuals all displaying their collective talents to embrace a powerful remedy to the drags and pains of time. Ever since the Fall of 2003 we have found a desired path that we can all freely travel on. Our sound mixes from the soulful B3 organ and selective keyboards of Dave Taylor, the warm inviting vocals and spanking guitar work of Morgan Shallcross, our wah-wah other worldly guitar of Keith Burchett, the thunder bass of Sean Ayres and the multi-dimensional work of Glen Howerton on drums. To witness and experience an evening is something special to one's spirit.

We are here for a simple reason really, we live & breath art. Big fancy companies call it a "Mission Statement". We see it as something bigger than a mission, we see it as a passion. Sure we sell art supplies. We sell a variety of paints, brushes, canvas, even hand made sketch books and art papers. We feel we sell some of the finest art materials on the planet. The thing that most sets us apart from typical art supply stores is the fact that we use the stuff ourselves. We paint and sculpt and draw and have been known to squeeze a full tube of Burnt Umber acrylic paint into our hair, just to become one with the medium. It's pretty simple with us, it's all about the art.

After 13 years of writing and performing 25 year old Noah Sugarman has created a genre trancending style all to it's own. With melody heavy lyrics from a big rythm and blues voice touching on deep subject matter, rythmic finger picking and beats that keep you guessing. In the little town of South Park, children waited anxiously,

for a special place to open, where they could be So Childish and free.

No more need for fairy tales, or once upon a time,

for today there truly exists, a place to call yours and mine.

Parents no longer need to fret, just come on in and see,

that kids can learn and make-believe, beneath our orange tree.

So Childish would like to welcome all the little ones in town,

to take their family by the hand, and come on down!

The Zingle Story

The Zingle was born on a cold winter morning around 6:45am. The founder, an avid water sport enthusiast, was just finishing a routine sunrise surf. Like the many winter mornings before, he would go for a piping hot coffee following every exchange with the cold Pacific Ocean. Still shivering after shedding his wetsuit, he froze while he waited in line to order the same cup of coffee he ordered every morning. He grew tired of freezing in line to order his coffee, and waiting for the coffee to be made. He decided there had to be an easier way to get his coffee - the Zingle was born.
